Dear galprop authors:
I have a very naive question, how high is the energy for gamma ray that galprop can calculate? Can it reach 10^9 MeV? thanks a lot for your time.
best regards,

the limit is about 1e8 MeV for hadronic interactions (assuming the proton spectrum has be computed to higher energies), and similar for inverse Compton but then you need electrons of higher energy which are diffiicult to treat due to their very short lifetimes.

NB use the latest version for the most recent hadronic cross-sections.
