Hello!

I can't find anywhere example GALDEF files for v.54. Could you please provide for downloading at least one such file? This is really useful for first runs after installation on a local machine. The GALDEF files of previous versions shouldn't be used for v.54, right?

Hi Andrey,

you can obtain example files in WebRun.
When you fill out the configuration form and click "Submit", you see a confirmation screen
before the job is submitted to the queue. In that confirmation screen, there is a hyperlink
to the galdef file that you are about to use.

Thanks, Andrey! Meanwhile, another small thing - maybe you know something (also will be useful for future users): installation instructions in the README file say that after "make install" command it's necessary to execute another command "setenv ...smth". But my terminal doesn't recognize "setenv" command. What should one do in this case? "Empirically" I replaced setenv by "export ...smth" command, which seems to work instead. Finally, GALPROP looks to be running successfully - at least, when I run it from its source folder. So, should one worry about this setenv if GALPROP runs in fact?

If your shell is "csh", then the syntax is
Code:
setenv VARIABLE value

and if your shell is "bash", then
Code:
export VARIABLE=value

If Galprop runs without complaining about missing libraries, then you are done.
