Diffuse emission from the Cygnus region has been detected by Milagro and compared with galprop models, see http://babbage.sissa.it/abs/astro-ph/0611691 There appears to be an excess even above the optimized model. Note added Feb 2007 This paper has now been accepted by ApJLett. |
