This paper includes an extensive review of published Fermi-LAT analyses of the Galactic Centre gamma-ray excess.
It focusses on a proton source in the GC.
It uses the latest pion-decay cross-sections now implemented in GALPROP at https://sourceforge.net/projects/galprop
