I have installed galprop, root, slalib and galplot on my pc which runs on Fedora 12 OS. My directory structure is as follows
/../Galprop/v50.1p where Galprop is intalled
/../Galprop/FITS fits directory
/../Galprop/GALDEF galdef directory
/../Galprop/galplot where galplot is unpacked
/../Galprop/galplot/plots where results from galplot are stored

Is there any other directory I need to add? What other files do I need to put in FITS folder or plots folder for galplot?
Finally this is the problem I am facing : Having compiled the galplot code, i ran it with a sample galdef/galplot file like
./galplot 599278
But after showing the following output
.
.
.
Distribution.init:generated 2D array of spectra 21 81 0
galaxy.ISRF initialized with frequency axis dimension=0
Distribution.init:generated 2D array of spectra 21 81 0

$

the process got killed by itself. Am I facing some memory issue or is there some problem with my installation setup?

ok i got it to work partially. But I get the message
Quote:
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'

This is because I do not have the files counts.vp0001.g006, counts.vp0001.g007, counts.vp0001.g008. So how can one get these files if possible. Or else could you tell me how to process the galdef file without comparing it with the EGRET data(I understand that these files are required for convolve_Egret() to work).
