I am trying to get galprop v54 up and running on my system. I installed the required packages and the data from the galprop website, however, while running an example galdef file that I obtained from a test webrun, it is giving me the following error:

Code:
 ReadISRFFormatV3: Reading ISRF from /home/jbuch/Work/GALPROP/FITS/ISRF/Standard/Standard.dat
ReadRadiationField: Reading from /home/jbuch/Work/GALPROP/FITS/ISRF/Standard/Standard.dat
ClearData: Call to clear cache when not built
ReadRadiationField: Error reading from file /home/jbuch/Work/GALPROP/FITS/ISRF/Standard/Standard.dat
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::invalid_argument'
what():  Error reading from file /home/jbuch/Work/GALPROP/FITS/ISRF/Standard/Standard.dat
Aborted (core dumped)

As i understand, it implies that the file ../ISRF/Standard/Standard.dat is missing. Indeed, despite extracting the galprop-54_data_081715.tar.gz multiple times I don't seem to be getting the Standard.dat file.

Any help will be appreciated!

Strange, try some of the other data tar files. What do you actually have in the FITS directory? is there an ISRF subdirectory?

I also meet this problem. Have you solved it?

In fact, I use galprop_54_r2766.tar.gz. Looking for the input data files mentioned in galprop_explanatory_supplement, I only find those related to Nuclear physics. There are no files about Galactic structure , HI, CO, or ISRF.

Should I download a new package?

the HI and CO files are available at galprop.stanford.edu, under data downloads.
I did not put them in the new release since they have not changed.
The ISRF is there too, did you still not find it? if not I have to check further.

Thanks. I found them. I am new to galprop so I forget to download the package.
